Texture Rolling

How to texture a ceiling or wall
To create the effect of a point, a brush "square" which contains "flexible rubber tips" on the surface of the face side of the tool is used lightly, "bounce", the textured surface.
You can also create the same effect, if you roll over the surface, the mixing of texture, and continue working on this until a point is finally reached.
The depth in the "finished" texture pattern depends on the thickness of the texture coherence powder mixture, moreover, the thickness of the texture mixed on the surface to be textured.
To create a final "uniform" Finally, you must ensure that deploying the texture applied as uniformly as possible on the surface, and maintaining it depth level along the entire roof.
A lot of building new facilities for a dotted, broken skin or swirl pattern, usually a dash pattern can be done quickly and as reasonably dry texture coating does not need white paint later, saving time and money to the contractor.
In this section I look at the speckled pattern of his uniform, smooth finish or heavy, and the speed at which you can do.
The pattern Spotted is sometimes known as 'Knockdown'
To this end, the surface prepared / area to be textured should be as "flat and as level as possible "(Otherwise, discrepancies and uneven surfaces will show through later.)
As this pattern requires that the final texture materials mixed to resemble a kind of thick emulsion paint, I find this one of the dirtiest patterns to do well.
Mixture a bucket of powder texture (thick first out the lumps).
After letting the rest of mixed coarse texture for a few minutes in the bucket, add small amounts of cold water in the mixture of fine texture of it out.
Then transfer this mixed texture material in the bucket roller large ready to be implemented, and the mixture again, using the buffer tool, or a drill with mixing attachment.
When the addition cold water to mix the coating down to desired texture, just add a little at a time, since it is not desirable to add the powder in this post.
The finished product should now look similar to thick emulsion paint.
Next step: Decide where to start the pattern in ceiling.
It seems to me to make a point, that the best place to start is further from the entrance door of the room.
1: Using the roller great painter, which is attached to the pole / handle, dip the roller in the head completely cube texture mixed to completely cover the roller head. (You can also Use a small roller for use if desired.)
2: Lift the roller out and give a little shake to get rid of waste, and then had a strong offer the charge roller head on the roof surface.
3: Start along the edge of the wall from the ceiling (when using the roller, and always extend your straightened arms up, and away from you).
4: With a light but firm pressure, pull over and roll over you, to spread the material on the surface (rolling can take a little practice to do well, but this method is used to shoot through the roof for any job.)
5: When you shot the texture on the ceiling (about 3 feet coverage area) to load the roll again, and roll on the roof, next to the area you just covered.
6: Continue this method until a large area has been coated with the mixture of textures, probably a third to one half of the maximum, depending the size of area to cover.
7: When you've completed this, and use the roller again, (but not charged with the mixture of texture this time), continue the deployment in the opposite direction of the texture applied to even out (out), the applied coating texture on the ceiling, otherwise have an uneven finish when you come to it stipple: the thickness of the texture on the ceiling should be about half inch deep.
8: The following step is to prepare the brush layer dotted with mixed texture, use a stipple brush large or small, but you'll get a more uniform pattern, with a big brush, especially if your texture larger surfaces, ensuring a Wooden Handle is attached to large stipple brush that can reach the high ceiling.
Below is a brief summary:
1: Apply the texture to the surface.
Rolling in about one third or even half of the roof).
2: Take the roll, (but not charged with the mixture of the texture of this time.)
Roll on the roof, in the opposite direction the texture is applied to "level" the texture already there: otherwise the finished model will be uneven.
The next step is to prepare the stippling brush.
3: Set a pole / handle tap and hold the brush so that the rubber soft bristles are pointing upwards.
4: Load the roll of the head with the mixture of texture, and circulate slowly through the area this small amount of stippling brush (the bristles of rubber), making sure not to crush or flatten the rubber bristles once coated with a texture that we are now ready for the dotted area covered.
5: Standing directly below the texture area, start along the ceiling / flush the wall after bouncing stipple brush lightly on the roof to create the desired effect.
6: Continue and rebound dotted in the covered area.
(Addressing at the door of the entrance hall to take a look from time to time, and do not forget, you can see, so will others, making adjustments where necessary)
keep riding on the roof, and point to finish.
7: Finally, run a brush size of a fist around the perimeter of the roof line to the wall ordered to create a border, and not forgetting the center light up too, to put in order.
You can also use a small brush stippling to create this design, but if you are using the large brush, it seems easier to create a smoother finish.
The dotted pattern also can be created with only the wearing course surface texture and then continue rolling the mixture to the roller head until such a pattern of dots is eventually formed.
If you want a heavier stippling effect, a mixture of a coarse texture with cold water as normal, but not add more water to stay with a consistency thicker in the bucket, then roll this mixture over the surface thickly.
A heavy stipple is great for dorsal (flatten a bit) to create a "anaglyptic" looking effect.
