Miz Hendrick's Sweet Potato Souffle is fast, easy and a reminder of the festive meal at home grandmother. Pumpkin Ice Cream This recipe is so easy, it is incredible. You can make Your Own homemade ice cream, without even owning a freezer ice cream. These are great recipes for the holidays.
Hedrick ZIM'S Sweet Potato Souffle
3 cups cooked, mashed Sweet Potato
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp tablespoon vanilla
1 / 2 cup butter softened
Trim:
1 cup Brown Sugar packed
1 / 3 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, vanilla and butter. Pour mixture into a lightly greased Baking Dish.
Combine sugar, flour and pecans with a fork. Sprinkle mixture on top of sweet potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
ICE CREAM PUMPKIN
Recipe Quick and easy pumpkin ice cream was published several years ago in the local newspaper in my hometown when I was a kid. (Several, several years ago!) is from a home economist home service local extension.
1 cup pumpkin pulp
1 / 2 cup brown sugar
1 / 2 c. cinnamon
1 / 4 c. Ginger Tea
1 / 4 c. salt
1 / 4 c. nutmeg
1 cream quart vanilla ice
Combine pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, salt and nutmeg. Soften ice cream and mix with the pumpkin mixture. Freeze until firm and you have your own homemade ice cream to the pumpkin.
Note: You can add chopped nuts or chocolates to ice cream for extra richness and crucial if you want.
